Application Developer - Web

Role Overview

You will design, develop, and deploy custom web applications supporting the patient portal and mobile applications. Your work will help enable seamless integration with electronic health records (EHR) and third-party systems, using healthcare IT best practices.

This is a remote role, but you must reside in Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Develop ASP.NET Core MVC web applications that are responsive on both mobile and desktop.
• Create SPA pages for integration into the Patient Portal.
• Build solutions integrating with Epic EHR and third-party systems via web service APIs (including FHIR).
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional applications.
• Use Microsoft Azure tools for observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain in-house REST-based API layers for mobile apps.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure quality, functionality, and adherence to specifications.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting, and load analysis to ensure optimal performance.
• Participate in agile cycles using Azure DevOps for planning, story tracking, and CI.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of relevant development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with ASP.NET Core MVC and responsive application design.
• Knowledge of RESTful and SOAP web services.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, and Entity Framework Core.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure monitoring/observability tools.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio and strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.
• Strong understanding of Agile and version control using Git.
• Excellent communication and teamwork; able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

• Candidates will be considered for Application Developer or Senior Application Developer level based on experience.
