About the role
Role Overview
Hands-on Software Developer to design, build, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and data pipelines supporting sales, operations, and customer experience.
Remote (OR or CA only) — full-time exempt.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain custom Quickbase applications and automations for internal teams.
- Develop and deploy services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Quickbase, GCP, and other systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments.
- Integrate internal tools and third-party APIs across CRM, marketing, finance, and reporting.
- Partner with business stakeholders and external development teams to turn real-world needs into scalable solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years professional software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Quickbase (tables, relationships, formulas, Pipelines/automations).
- Experience with GCP services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, App Engine, or similar).
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in at least one modern language: JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or similar.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, APIs, and data integration patterns.
- Excellent communication skills; comfortable working independently in a remote-first team.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience.
- Quickbase or Google Cloud certifications.
- Industry experience in home improvement/construction/field services.
- Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
