Application Developer

Role Overview

Hands-on Software Developer to design, build, and maintain custom applications, integrations, and data pipelines supporting sales, operations, and customer experience.

Remote (OR or CA only) — full-time exempt.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain custom Quickbase applications and automations for internal teams.
• Develop and deploy services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Build and maintain data pipelines connecting Quickbase, GCP, and other systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable, repeatable deployments.
• Integrate internal tools and third-party APIs across CRM, marketing, finance, and reporting.
• Partner with business stakeholders and external development teams to turn real-world needs into scalable solutions.

Requirements

• 3–5 years professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Quickbase (tables, relationships, formulas, Pipelines/automations).
• Experience with GCP services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, BigQuery, Cloud Storage, App Engine, or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in at least one modern language: JavaScript/Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Strong understanding of relational databases, APIs, and data integration patterns.
• Excellent communication skills; comfortable working independently in a remote-first team.

Nice to Have

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS or equivalent experience.
• Quickbase or Google Cloud certifications.
• Industry experience in home improvement/construction/field services.
• Familiarity with Git and Agile development practices.
