Application Developer (Remote)

Role Overview

Application Developer (Remote) — part-time, fully remote contract role. You’ll help build a cutting-edge esports tournament application where users can compete and win monetary rewards, delivering a robust and user-friendly tournament experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define app requirements and user flows
• Design and implement scalable, secure, high-performance application architecture
• Build core features including:
  • User registration
  • Tournament creation
  • Matchmaking
  • Prize distribution
• Integrate secure payment gateways and support regulatory compliance
• Perform testing, debugging, and optimization to ensure reliability
• Create technical documentation and support ongoing maintenance and updates
• Participate in regular remote meetings and provide progress updates

Requirements

• Proven experience in application development (gaming/esports experience preferred)
• Strong proficiency with relevant programming languages/frameworks, e.g.:
  • JavaScript, React Native, Flutter, Node.js
• Solid understanding of frontend and backend development principles
• Experience integrating payment systems and handling secure transactions
• Familiarity with cloud services and scalable infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment
• Availability for part-time contract work and flexibility to adapt to project needs
