About the role

Role Overview

Full-time Application Developer focused on full-stack development in the Microsoft stack, primarily maintaining and modernizing MedTrac, IHCS’s custom core application for referral management, utilization management, distribution, and reporting.

Responsibilities

Code and deliver new application features for MedTrac.
Modernize existing application components.
Maintain integrations and support associated portals.
Work with the current MedTrac consulting team and collaborate with a Sr. Cloud Developer on modernization, scalability, and interoperability initiatives.
Leverage Generative AI (GenAI) tools and techniques to enhance functionality and drive innovation.

Requirements

Core Technical Skills

Proficiency in C# / .NET Core and ASP.NET Framework (VB.NET or C#).
Experience with a JavaScript framework (e.g., Aurelia, Angular, React).
Strong TypeScript skills.
Strong SQL Server skills, including stored procedures.
Experience with MVVM and/or MVC.
HTML/CSS experience.
Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.

GenAI Skills

Familiarity with Python and AI/ML development.
Interest in AI frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch.
Interest in NLP and/or Computer Vision (CV).
Understanding of LLMs and basic prompt engineering.
Interest in real-world GenAI usage, including bias mitigation and ethical AI.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and critical thinking.
Clear communication of technical concepts.
Adaptability and commitment to continuous learning.

Work Location

Hybrid or fully remote depending on experience and fit.
