Application Developer I

Role Overview

Application Developer I is an entry-level position responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining application components under guidance. You will support senior developers in translating defined requirements into code and contributing to application quality using established development practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain application components based on defined requirements
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following established standards
• Assist in application design and development activities under supervision
• Work with technologies such as .NET and C# (or other relevant languages)
• Support front-end or back-end frameworks as required (Angular, React, or similar)
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services
• Perform unit testing and help resolve defects
• Collaborate with QA teams to identify and fix issues in a timely manner
• Participate in Agile or waterfall methodologies as required
• Create and maintain basic technical documentation
• Work with senior developers and cross-functional teams to deliver assigned tasks
• Analyze user requirements and contribute to solution development

Requirements

• 0–3 years of experience in application development (entry-level)
• Exposure to .NET / C# (or similar languages) preferred
• Basic understanding of web technologies and REST APIs
• Basic knowledge of object-oriented programming concepts
• Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
• Exposure to version control tools such as Git or Azure DevOps
• Ability to understand and follow technical specifications
• Problem-solving with guidance from senior team members

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field (or equivalent work experience considered on a 1:1 basis)
