Application Developer

Role Overview

ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and enhance ServiceNow solutions. This is a developer role (not an administrator role) with responsibilities across application development, scripting, workflow automation, and integrations.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable ServiceNow platform solutions
• Design and develop custom applications, custom logic, and platform extensions
• Build and configure ServiceNow features such as:
  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Script Includes, ACLs
• Automate business workflows using Flow Designer, Flow Actions, and Subflows
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub
• Implement and enhance modules (e.g., ITSM and other ServiceNow modules as needed)
• Follow ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and performance guidelines
• Support testing, deployment, and post-production activities
• Collaborate with architects, functional consultants, and cross-functional stakeholders

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) — Mandatory
• Strong ServiceNow scripting skills, including:
  • JavaScript
  • Glide API
• Experience with Business Rules and custom development
• Proficiency with Flow Designer and automation workflows
• Integration experience with REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, and MID Server
• Understanding of ServiceNow data model, security, and performance
• Experience implementing/enhancing ServiceNow modules (with ITSM preferred)
