About the role

Role Overview

Twine is hiring a part-time freelance Application Developer (Remote, United States) to build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Ionic, React, and TypeScript. You’ll help design, develop, and deliver robust mobile solutions for iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using Ionic + React + TypeScript
Integrate RESTful APIs and manage application state effectively
Use and integrate device APIs (e.g., Camera, Geolocation, Push Notifications)
Optimize performance to ensure smooth, high-quality user experiences
Collaborate with the team to deliver project milestones on schedule
Assist with deployment to Apple App Store and Google Play as needed

Requirements

5+ years of hands-on experience with Ionic Framework and React
Strong TypeScript and JavaScript (ES6+) skills, plus HTML5 and CSS3
Experience integrating REST APIs and managing application state
Familiarity with Capacitor, Firebase, and mobile performance optimization
Knowledge of device APIs: Camera, Geolocation, Push Notifications
Experience with App Store / Play Store deployment (a plus)
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and independent communication in a remote setting
Availability for part-time contract work

Prior experience deploying mobile apps to App Store and Google Play
