About the role
Role Overview
DataAnnotation is seeking an Application Developer to help train AI models. You will assess and improve AI chatbot performance by evaluating logic, solving coding challenges, and measuring overall progress.
Responsibilities
- Create and/or deliver coding challenges for AI chatbots
- Evaluate chatbot outputs for correctness and performance
- Diagnose issues and solve problems to improve model quality
- For each coding solution, explain how it works and why it solves the problem
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript
- Ability to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank) and explain solutions
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Detail-oriented approach
- Experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows
- A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree is preferred (not required)
Contract & Work Details
- Remote position (full-time or part-time)
- Choose your own projects and own schedule
- Independent contract work
- Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
- Payment via PayPal
- United States-only applicants
