About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation as an Application Developer to help train and evaluate AI models. You’ll measure chatbot progress, assess logic and outputs, and solve coding challenges to improve the quality of each model.

Responsibilities

Create or assign coding challenges for AI chatbots and evaluate their outputs
Assess AI-generated results for correctness and performance
Solve programming problems and improve model quality through analysis and debugging

Requirements

Proficient in at least one programming language, with the option to apply via either Python and/or JavaScript
Able to solve coding problems (e.g., LeetCode, HackerRank) in one or more of: JavaScript, Python, C#, C++, HTML, SQL, Swift
Ability to explain how solutions solve the problems
Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Detail-oriented approach
Strong experience with algorithms, data structures, and debugging workflows

Nice-to-Haves

A current, in-progress, or completed Bachelor’s degree

Contract, Location & Schedule

Independent contract position
Remote: full-time or part-time, with flexible scheduling
Must be based in the United States

Compensation

Paid hourly up to $60 USD/hour, with bonuses for high-quality and high-volume work
