About the role
Role Overview
Application Developer (Angular) — Software Developer Associate supporting CMS Center for Program Integrity (CPI) on the Unified Case Management (UCM) system. You will develop front-end web application functionality that enhances investigative capabilities for fraud, waste, and abuse.
Responsibilities
- Develop front-end interactive, dynamic user-interface functionality using Angular/JavaScript (plus HTML/CSS)
- Write and run unit tests for UI components
- Research, design, develop, test, and/or modify enterprise applications
- Assist across the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Analyze user/business needs and translate them into software system designs
- Create models/diagrams to explain the required code and implementation
- Perform software updates, refinement, testing, and debugging
- Support documentation and reporting of software project specifications, activities, and status
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of related experience
- Angular and JavaScript knowledge/experience
- Experience/knowledge of HTML and CSS
- GitHub and/or Node.js experience
- Ability to obtain Public Trust (NACI (T1) listed) and follow any clearance-related requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Spring Boot
- ActiveMQ
- Back-end development experience
- Data migration/maintenance experience
- Experience supporting CMS and the Center for Program Integrity
Logistics
- Remote (100%)
- 40 hours/week; Monday–Friday 9am–5pm EST core hours
- Residency requirement: lived in the US at least 3 of the last 5 years
- US federal ID residency requirement; work visa sponsorship not considered
Compensation
- Likely salary range: $64,230 – $78,200 (annual)
