Role overview

As a Chemical Products Applicator (Productos Químicos B), you will assist in the application of chemical products and fertilizers within the golf course maintenance program to ensure quality, safety, and compliance with established standards.

Main responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides, and pesticides according to established programs.
• Prepare chemical mixtures following technical procedures and safety regulations.
• Maintain chemical storage areas clean, organized, and properly labeled.
• Clean and maintain tanks, nozzles, and filters after each application.
• Perform triple rinsing and ensure proper disposal of empty containers.
• Supervise and train level C applicators.
• Support field preparation and conditioning when needed.
• Ensure applications are carried out without impacting players’ experience.

Administrative responsibilities

• Keep records and logs of chemical and fertilizer usage.
• Verify inventory and report stock levels to the Superintendent.
• Create monthly inventory reports and support purchasing planning.

Requirements

• Experience handling and applying agrochemicals, fertilizers, and plant protection products.
• Knowledge of safety standards and use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Ability to operate chemical application equipment and agricultural machinery.
• Ability to supervise staff and work in a team.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and responsibility.
