Angular Front‑End Developer (Remote) TT

Role Overview

Angular Front-End Developer to support a Department of Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) project focused on application modernization in the Azure Cloud. This role can be 100% remote within the United States and involves hands-on front-end development as part of a project team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain front-end features using Angular following established coding standards, project requirements, and technical designs
• Participate in full software development lifecycle activities under direction of technical leads/managers
• Perform code reviews
• Implement unit and integration tests in line with team processes
• Identify and recommend technical improvements for assigned tasks, escalating as appropriate
• Use analytical skills to support development and problem resolution
• Support initiatives and contribute to project deliverables as directed
• Follow documented ICF development, security, and quality standards
• Learn new tools/technologies as needed
• Work effectively in a remote environment using established collaboration practices
• Own assigned components/tasks with oversight and review

Requirements (Minimum Qualifications)

• 3+ years front-end development with Angular (Angular preferred) or React
• 3+ years writing/debugging SQL queries and supporting apps integrating with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server)
• 2+ years working with REST APIs
• 2+ years working in Agile/Scrum teams (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• 2+ years supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
• U.S. citizenship required (federal contract)
• Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
• Must reside in and work within the United States

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience supporting applications hosted in Azure Cloud
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IS/Math or equivalent practical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
