About the role

Role Overview

Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to help advance AI development by designing, solving, and reviewing programming tasks—especially those related to Android development. Work is flexible and paid per project through the platform, with the option for some contributors to do this alongside other work or make it their primary focus.

Responsibilities

Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems, with an emphasis on Android
Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
Provide feedback that directly shapes future AI model training

Requirements

Native or bilingual English proficiency
Strong writing and grammar skills
Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
Preferred: Kotlin experience
Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
Preferred: prior experience as a Software Developer/Engineer/Programmer/Coder

Work Setup & Availability

Fully remote (work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
Flexible schedule: choose projects and working times
Paid hourly via the platform (PayPal handling currency conversions)

Compensation

Up to $60 USD/hour; higher-paying projects may be available with strong performance.
