About the role

Role Overview

Join the expanding mobile team as an Android Engineer working on high-impact projects in the audio AI space. You’ll deliver new features for the company’s reader app and integrate AI-powered audio functionality while partnering closely with design, product, and research.

Responsibilities

Drive development of innovative mobile app features using data analysis, product ideation, and experimentation
Plan, build, and deploy mobile infrastructure to support new product functionality
Collaborate with design, product, and research to achieve strategic goals
Contribute to the app’s architecture and technical roadmap
Maintain high standards for performance, quality, and responsiveness
Participate in code reviews and uphold best practices and coding standards
Continuously evaluate and adopt new technologies to improve development efficiency
Support scalability and robustness of AI-driven audio features

Requirements

Proven native Android development experience with a portfolio of shipped features
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Kotlin, Java, and related development tools
Experience designing and implementing A/B tests and data-driven experimentation
Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently
Excellent collaboration with cross-functional teams (design/product/research)
Familiarity with mobile infrastructure deployment, testing, and optimization

Nice to Have

Knowledge of audio processing and AI integration
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and technological advancements
Passion for innovation in AI and audio technology
