Android Engineer (Contract)

Location: Fully remote (contract)

Role Overview

You’ll work on Android development for a mobile-focused agency, building and integrating features using modern Android and API technologies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin
Build and consume REST APIs and GraphQL services
Work with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) and Android payment functionality
Deliver features using a production-ready Android architecture and components

Requirements

Kotlin and Android development experience
Experience integrating REST APIs
Experience with GraphQL
Familiarity with FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
Comfortable working on mobile apps using Jetpack
3+ month availability for a fully remote contract

Nice-to-Haves

React Native experience
Experience with Android Pay
SDUI exposure

Contract Details

Contract length: 3+ months
Compensation: $40–$45/hour
