Role overview
- 100% remote Android engineering role on a contract basis.
- Build and improve mobile features using Android (Kotlin) and integrate with backend services.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin.
- Implement and integrate REST APIs and GraphQL for app data flows.
- Build reliable messaging/notification experiences using FCM.
- Collaborate on UI and app architecture using modern Android patterns.
Requirements
- Java and Kotlin experience.
- Android development experience with Android components (Jetpack).
- Experience integrating with REST APIs and GraphQL.
Nice-to-haves / additional skills mentioned
- React Native knowledge.
- Experience with Android Pay.
- Familiarity with Jetpack components.
Contract details
- 3+ month contract.
- Fully remote.
- Compensation: $40–$45 per hour.
