About the role

Role Overview

Senior Android Engineer to design, develop, and maintain Android applications that enhance the platform’s capabilities and user experience.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android apps aligned with the product roadmap
Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend developers, QA specialists, and other teams to deliver features
Troubleshoot issues and optimize app performance
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and platform-level improvements
Own technical solutions, drive implementation, and ensure timely feature delivery
Mentor junior engineers and share best practices
Stay up to date with Android industry trends and continuously improve the Android codebase and development processes

Requirements

5+ years of professional Android development shipping consumer or enterprise apps
Proficiency in Kotlin
Experience with modern Android architectures such as MVVM or MVI
Familiarity with reactive programming using RxJava or Coroutines/Flow
Solid understanding of collaborative workflows (Git, branching strategies, code reviews)
Strong computer science foundation, design patterns, and testing (unit and manual)
Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments; ownership and mentoring valued

Nice to Have / Additional Skills

Jetpack Compose
Dagger, Realm, SQL, JNI, or SDK development
Performance optimization, systems architecture, and hardware integration experience
