Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring an Android Developer (Remote) to build and maintain its Android application for job seekers and hiring professionals.

Responsibilities

Design and develop Android features using Kotlin
Build fast, intuitive, responsive, and accessible UI following Material Design
Integrate with backend APIs and real-time data services
Maintain app quality with unit and instrumented tests
Optimize performance, battery usage, and memory footprint
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in Agile cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in Kotlin and the Android SDK
Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play
Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns: MVVM and Clean Architecture
Familiarity with Jetpack components: ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Compose
Experience integrating REST APIs and handling async data with Coroutines and Flow
Knowledge of Android testing frameworks: JUnit, Espresso, Mockito
