Android Developer (Remote)

Build and maintain Joveo’s Android application, delivering a fast, intuitive mobile experience for job seekers and hiring professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop Android app features in Kotlin
Implement responsive and accessible UI using Material Design
Integrate mobile features with backend APIs and real-time data services
Write unit and instrumented tests to ensure app quality
Optimize performance, battery usage, and memory footprint
Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams in Agile cycles

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong Kotlin and Android SDK proficiency
Experience publishing and maintaining apps on Google Play Store
Solid understanding of Android architecture patterns: MVVM and Clean Architecture
Familiarity with Jetpack components: ViewModel, Room, Navigation, Compose
Experience integrating with REST APIs and async data handling using Coroutines and Flow
Knowledge of Android testing frameworks: JUnit, Espresso, Mockito
