Role Overview

Join as an Android Developer to build the native Android experience for BJAK’s AI Finance Agent. You’ll ship reliable, user-friendly features for a financial app used by millions of users in Southeast Asia.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship native Android features for onboarding, account management, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
• Convert complex financial workflows into intuitive, fast, and dependable mobile experiences.
• Work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI specialists to take features from concept to production.
• Maintain and improve app quality by monitoring performance metrics, crash reports, and user feedback, then iterating quickly.
• Ensure security and reliability of financial workflows, including secure API integrations and data handling.
• Use analytics and real-world feedback to refine features post-launch.

Requirements

• Proven native Android experience with Kotlin and a strong portfolio of shipped apps.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture components and modern practices, including Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow.
• Experience integrating APIs, authentication, and secure data handling in financial or high-reliability contexts.
• Strong debugging/problem-solving skills for production issues.
• Excellent English communication and ability to collaborate in a remote, multicultural team.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining quality.
