Android Developer

Role Overview

You will be an Android Engineer responsible for developing and maintaining the native Android experience of the company’s recruitment platform. You’ll build intuitive, high-performance mobile features that serve millions of job seekers and employers.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy native Android features for onboarding, account management, payments, transfers, rewards, and AI-assisted user journeys.
• Translate complex workflows—especially financial workflows—into simple, fast, reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and AI teams to ship features from concept to production.
• Ensure app quality by monitoring and improving:
• performance metrics, crash rates, loading times, and edge cases
• Use analytics, user feedback, and customer behavior data to refine features post-launch.
• Integrate APIs, authentication, and secure data handling practices for reliable and secure financial transactions.
• Debug and resolve production issues to maintain performance and reliability.
• Stay up to date with Android best practices and apply new techniques to improve the platform.

Requirements

• Strong native Android development experience, especially Kotlin.
• Proven track record shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture components, including:
  • Jetpack, Coroutines, and Flow
• Experience with modern Android development practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a user-centric mindset.
• Ability to debug production issues and optimize performance/reliability.
• Excellent English communication skills.
