ANDROID DEVELOPER

Role: Android Developer

Develop and maintain Android applications using modern Android architecture and libraries.

Responsibilities

• Build Android features using the Android SDK and established architecture patterns.
• Implement and integrate REST APIs.
• Work with local data storage and persistence (e.g., SQLite/Room).
• Use Jetpack components to handle background work and app navigation.
• Apply clean architecture practices (e.g., MVVM/MVP) and data binding.
• Manage dependencies and versioning using common tooling.

Requirements

• 2+ years of commercial experience
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Android SDK
  • Java and Kotlin
  • OOP/OOD
  • REST APIs
  • XML
  • SQLite DB
  • Retrofit
  • Dagger / Koin
  • Android Jetpack (including WorkManager)
  • Navigation
  • Room
  • Version control tools: GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket
• English at least Intermediate level

Nice to have

• RxJava / RxKotlin
• Coroutines
• Clean Architecture, MVVM/MVP (explicitly mentioned)
• Data Binding
