About the role
Role Overview
Join DataAnnotation’s coding team to help develop and refine cutting-edge AI systems. This is a flexible, remote role where you select projects and schedules that fit your availability.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve coding problems used to train AI systems with an emphasis on Android development
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets and detailed explanations
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity
- Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models
Requirements
- Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress)
- Excellent writing and grammar skills
- Preferred: Kotlin experience
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift
- Preferred: prior software development experience (Software Developer, Coder, Software Engineer, or Programmer)
Compensation & Logistics
- Fully remote; work from anywhere in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, or New Zealand
- Flexible schedule; choose which projects you take on and when
- Paid hourly (up to $60 USD/hour), with potential for higher-paying projects based on performance
- Payment handled via PayPal (USD assumed)
Screening Process
- After account signup, complete a short assessment (acts as an interview). Paid work becomes available upon passing.
