About the role
Role Overview
As an Android Developer on DataAnnotation’s coding team, you’ll work on programming tasks that help train and improve AI systems. The work involves building and evaluating code (with an emphasis on Android), writing clear explanations, and providing feedback that influences future model performance.
Responsibilities
- Design and solve diverse coding problems used to train AI systems, focused on Android development.
- Write clear, high-quality code snippets and provide detailed explanations.
- Evaluate AI-generated code for accuracy, performance, and clarity.
- Provide feedback that helps shape the next generation of AI models.
Requirements
- Native or bilingual English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress).
- Excellent writing and grammar skills.
- Preferred: experience as a Software Developer / Coder / Software Engineer / Programmer.
Preferred / Additional Skills
- Kotlin experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in at least one of: JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
Work Model & Location
- Fully remote and flexible schedule.
- Paid hourly per project (based on availability and performance).
- Eligibility: work available only to people in the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand.
Compensation
- Up to $60 USD/hour, with potential for higher-paying projects based on strong performance.
- Payment via PayPal (including currency conversion handling).
