Android Developer - AI Finance Agent

Role Overview

Build native Android applications for an AI Finance Agent that create intuitive, high-quality mobile financial experiences (payments, insurance, claims/renewals, and AI-assisted features). You’ll collaborate with product, design, backend, and AI teams to deliver scalable solutions with a strong focus on clean architecture, performance, and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve native Android features for financial services, payments, insurance, and AI-assisted experiences
• Own features across the full lifecycle: from designing user flows to shipping and optimizing production-ready functionality
• Design clean, intuitive mobile workflows that simplify complex user journeys
• Integrate with backend APIs and ensure apps are secure, stable, responsive, and reliable
• Improve performance by monitoring crash rates, loading times, memory usage, and responsiveness
• Use analytics, customer feedback, and production insights to continuously enhance product features
• Apply AI capabilities thoughtfully to improve mobile user experiences
• Maintain engineering standards through clean code, debugging, and scalable architecture

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional Android development using Kotlin
• Strong Android fundamentals and experience shipping apps used by real customers
• Proficiency with modern Android tools/frameworks, including:
  • Jetpack
  • Jetpack Compose
  • Coroutines and Flow
  • Contemporary architecture patterns
• Strong mobile UX principles and ability to handle edge cases and user-journey design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and troubleshooting production issues
• Ability to optimize reliability, performance, and overall UX
• Ownership mindset and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity/experience demonstrating shipped work (e.g., GitHub, app links, prior projects)
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Android SDK, SQL/NoSQL databases
• Experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference
