Android Developer (GrabJobs)

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and deploy Android apps with strong performance and responsiveness
Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to define and ship new features
Identify and troubleshoot bottlenecks and bugs to ensure smooth user experiences
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation using best practices and automation tools
Stay current with mobile development trends, technologies, and protocols
Implement offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
Integrate third-party libraries and APIs (including RESTful services and Google Maps SDK)
Write clean, testable, maintainable code using architectural patterns such as MVP, MVVM, or Clean Architecture
Participate in code reviews and team meetings

Requirements

3–6 years of experience as an Android Developer (or in similar roles)
Portfolio with released apps on the Android market
Experience with Android SDK and at least one published original Android app
Proficiency with code versioning tools, e.g., Git
Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD)
Any graduate degree from a recognized institution

Nice to Have

Experience integrating external APIs/libraries and building app features focused on user engagement

Work Setup

Work from the Noida office or remotely (anywhere in the US region per location listing context).
