Role Overview

Android Developer (Mobile Application Developer)

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications. The role may also involve iOS development depending on project needs. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mobile solutions that improve user experience and meet business goals.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Android apps with strong performance, responsiveness, and stability
Implement UI/UX designs while supporting different Android versions and screen sizes
Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to extend functionality
Create and execute unit tests, perform crash analysis, and use profiling tools to optimize performance
Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and follow best coding practices
Manage Google Play Store deployment: publishing and updates
Collaborate with design, backend, and QA to deliver seamless mobile solutions
Stay current with mobile industry trends, tools, and best practices

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
Proven experience in Android mobile development with solid understanding of:
- Android SDK
- Java and Kotlin
Experience with multi-threading, RESTful API integration, and third-party libraries
Familiarity with UI/UX customization and compatibility across Android versions/devices
Hands-on experience with Android Studio, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines
Understanding of MVVM and Android application lifecycle
Testing experience with JUnit, Mockito, and Espresso
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively

Nice to Have

iOS development knowledge using Swift or Objective-C
