Role overview

Android Developer (2026) to build and maintain high-performance Android mobile applications used by a large global audience. Work with product, design, backend, and QA to deliver features with strong standards for quality, performance, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance Android applications with clean, efficient, well-documented code
• Support the full mobile app lifecycle: planning, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality features and improve user experience
• Write and run unit and UI tests; debug and resolve issues to ensure stability and performance
• Monitor app health using Crashlytics, ANR reports, and performance metrics; proactively address technical problems
• Implement analytics/event tracking, feature rollouts, app configuration, and A/B testing
• Maintain legacy apps and identify opportunities to introduce new features and improve engineering practices
• Stay current with emerging Android technologies, frameworks, and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• At least 2 years of professional Android development
• Strong Kotlin and Java proficiency
• Experience publishing and maintaining apps on the Google Play Store
• Solid OOP and Android architecture fundamentals
• Experience integrating third-party libraries, APIs, and mobile services
• Experience with monitoring tools (Crashlytics, ANR reporting, performance analysis)
• Product analytics/event tracking experience (preferably Firebase Analytics or similar)
• Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills and ability to write reusable, maintainable, well-tested code
• Excellent communication and teamwork across cross-functional teams
• Availability to overlap with GMT+2 to GMT+7 time zones

Nice to have

• Streaming application experience
• Familiarity with WebRTC and WebSockets
• Strong mobile UI/UX and visual design best practices
