Analytics Engineer

Role: Analytics Engineer

Vouch is seeking an Analytics Engineer to build and maintain trusted analytical data assets. You’ll act as the bridge between the data platform and the analysts/business stakeholders who rely on it.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build scalable, auditable, reliable data models in dbt to power reporting and analytics.
• Partner with stakeholders (GTM, Finance, Product, Engineering, Design, Executives) to understand business context and deliver single-source-of-truth datasets.
• Act as a liaison between Engineering and Analytics to define source/target fields for data assets.
• Work with upstream Engineering teams to create and evolve data models as technology and business needs change.
• Document data models/specs (sources, descriptions, field definitions) to improve collaboration, scalability, and usability.
• Implement data quality tests, monitor daily job execution, and troubleshoot to meet SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis for data quality issues and partner to fix incomplete/dirty/unreliable data.
• Maintain and enforce data modeling standards and design patterns.
• Collaborate via code reviews, technical specs, and pair programming; use software development best practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years experience building ETL/ELT workflows as a data analytics engineer, data engineer, or data analyst across business domains.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Advanced experience with dbt, Snowflake, and Git.
