Analytics Engineer (Data)
Own the data vertical at Warp and turn diverse raw data into reliable metrics and deep insights that drive product and business decisions.
Role overview
This is a full-stack data role spanning operations, infrastructure, and research across Warp’s business functions (product, engineering, growth, revenue, and go-to-market). You will own the data model, define measurement standards, and set the bar for how analytics is done.
Responsibilities
Operations
- Define, build, and visualize core product and business metrics
- Design and analyze A/B tests to measure impact of product changes
- Adapt data models to support new product features, pricing models, and business initiatives
- Partner with GTM teams on product-qualified leads, engagement measurement, and billing/revenue analytics
Infrastructure
- Build and maintain canonical data models as sources of truth
- Implement production ETL for new data sources and reverse-ETL to send data to downstream consumers
- Develop AI agents to automate parts of the data team’s workflows
- Establish data quality monitoring and reliability standards
- Build self-serve analytics tooling across the company
Research
- Conduct deep ad-hoc analysis on user behavior and business mechanics to uncover growth opportunities
- Investigate key questions (e.g., how Warp expands/usage grows)
