Analytics Engineer

Role: Analytics Engineer

Serve as a trusted, customer-facing technical advisor helping customers solve complex industrial process challenges and maximize value from Seeq.

Responsibilities

Customer Technical Adoption

• Build relationships with customer champions and end users through solution design, implementation guidance, and technical mentorship.
• Conduct ongoing discovery to identify high-value use cases tied to customer business workflows and objectives.
• Collaborate with customers and the account team to develop and execute adoption plans and complete key use cases.
• Advise customers to implement and operationalize analytics to achieve strong ROI.
• Upskill and support Seeq’s partner ecosystem so it can extend analytics engineering capabilities globally (including localized support).

Product Expertise

• Stay current on how to implement and troubleshoot solutions in the Seeq platform, including integrations with other systems.
• Identify capability gaps and provide feedback to influence the product roadmap.
• Partner with product teams to design, implement, and test new functionality that meets customer needs.

Industry Expertise

• Apply industry knowledge to build trust, including awareness of market and use-case trends in the customer’s domain.
• Coordinate with internal teams (industry principals, product marketing, solution consulting) to shape industry-specific strategy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a technical field such as chemical, mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering; operations research, data analytics, or applied math considered.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in process engineering, reliability engineering, technical pre-sales engineering (SaaS; OT space preferred), or related roles.
• Deep technical expertise in one or more industrial process manufacturing verticals and understanding of broader market drivers.
• Empathy and experience with real-world industrial analytics challenges involving dense time-series process data and limited/complex tooling (e.g., Excel, MATLAB, Python, BI tools).
• Strong relationship-building, trust, and rapport skills across customers, partners, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Influential technical communication skills for subject matter experts through C-level audiences.
• Ability to develop and propose technical solutions using latest platform features (per posting).
