About the role
Role Overview
Sardine is hiring an Analytics Engineer to lead development of its internal data platform. You’ll connect and integrate GTM, product analytics, and business data sources into a single scalable system that powers insights and company-wide decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Build and own Sardine’s internal data infrastructure and core data foundation/architecture.
- Integrate data from CRM, marketing, product, finance, and operational systems into a cohesive, well-modeled data warehouse.
- Design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for clean, reliable, scalable data flows.
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure to support secure warehouse access controls and compliance.
- Work with data/engineering/RevOps/business ops/executives to define and track KPIs.
- Translate complex business requirements into data solutions for Revenue Operations, Business Operations, and Product/Engineering.
- Drive data quality and governance (consistency, trustworthiness, documentation).
- Create dashboards and analytics for executive leadership, GTM, Product, and Finance.
- Identify opportunities to automate and optimize reporting and visibility across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence (ideally supporting GTM/business functions).
- Proven experience integrating data across platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, and analytics/warehouse tools (e.g., BigQuery/Snowflake, Amplitude, Sigma, Clay).
- Python experience for automation and API integrations.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with a modern data stack (e.g., BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow).
- Experience building/maintaining data visualization solutions (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
