About the role
Role Overview
Sardine is hiring an Analytics Engineer to lead development of its internal data platform. You will connect and integrate GTM, product analytics, and business data sources into a single scalable system to drive insights and data-informed decision-making across the company.
Responsibilities
- Build, refine, and own Sardine’s internal data infrastructure, integrating CRM, marketing, product, finance, and operational systems into a cohesive, well-modeled data warehouse.
- Partner with Security and Infrastructure teams to ensure security architecture, including data protection, access controls, and compliance standards.
- Design and own ETL/ELT pipelines for clean, reliable, scalable data flows.
- Work with data, engineering, revenue/business operations, and executives to define and track KPIs.
- Translate complex requirements into elegant data solutions, acting as a bridge between Revenue Operations, Business Operations, and Product/Engineering.
- Champion data quality and governance, ensuring insights are consistent, trustworthy, and well-documented.
- Create dashboards and analytics (as needed) for executive leadership, GTM, Product, and Finance.
- Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, and improve visibility across teams.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or business intelligence (ideally supporting GTM or business functions).
- Experience managing data integrations across platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, BigQuery/Snowflake, Amplitude, Sigma, Clay, etc.
- Python experience for automation and API integrations.
- Exceptional SQL skills and experience building with a modern data stack (e.g., BigQuery, dbt, Fivetran, Airflow).
- Expertise building and maintaining scalable analytics/visualization solutions (e.g., Sigma, Looker, Tableau).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with executives and non-technical teams.
