About the role

Role Overview

Joveo is hiring an Analytics Engineer (Remote) to build a clean, trusted data layer that powers analytics and reporting. You’ll bridge data engineering and business intelligence by modeling raw data into well-structured, well-documented datasets the business can rely on.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain dbt models that transform raw data into clean analytical layers
Define and enforce data modeling standards and documentation practices
Partner with data analysts and BI developers to understand reporting requirements
Monitor data quality, write data tests, and maintain pipeline reliability
Collaborate with data engineers on schema design and warehouse architecture
Create and maintain a shared metrics layer for self-service analytics

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (dimensional or OBT approaches)
Hands-on experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud in production
Experience with cloud data warehouses: Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
Familiarity with data testing frameworks and data quality monitoring tools
Understanding of analytics engineering best practices and the modern data stack
Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
