Analytics Engineer (Remote)

Role Overview

Joveo is hiring a Remote Analytics Engineer to build a clean, trusted data layer that powers analytics and reporting. You will bridge data engineering and business intelligence, transforming raw data into well-modeled, well-documented datasets the business can rely on.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into clean analytical layers
• Define and enforce data modeling standards and documentation practices
• Partner with data analysts and BI developers to understand reporting requirements
• Monitor data quality, write data tests, and maintain pipeline reliability
• Collaborate with data engineers on schema design and warehouse architecture
• Create and maintain a shared metrics layer for self-service analytics

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (dimensional modeling or OBT approaches)
• Hands-on production experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
• Familiarity with data testing frameworks and data quality monitoring tools
• Understanding of analytics engineering best practices and the modern data stack
• Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business stakeholders
