About the role

Role Overview

Joveo AI is hiring a Remote Analytics Engineer to build a clean, trusted data layer that powers analytics and reporting. You will work between data engineering and business intelligence, transforming raw data into well-structured, documented datasets that the business can rely on.

Key Responsibilities

Build and maintain dbt models to transform raw data into clean analytical layers
Define and enforce data modeling standards and documentation practices
Partner with data analysts and BI developers to understand reporting requirements
Monitor data quality, write data tests, and maintain pipeline reliability
Collaborate with data engineers on schema design and warehouse architecture
Create and maintain a shared metrics layer for self-service analytics users

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (e.g., dimensional or OBT approaches)
Hands-on production experience with dbt Core or dbt Cloud
Experience with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
Familiarity with data testing frameworks and data quality monitoring tools
Understanding of analytics engineering best practices and the modern data stack
Ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and business stakeholders

Nice to Have
