Role overview

Join KOHO Financial as an Analytics Engineer. You will build and scale reporting pipelines and data models that support decision-making across the organization, owning parts of the data infrastructure backbone and ensuring reliable reporting.

Key missions

Build and scale data pipelines and data models to enable internal decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Maintain pipeline health, optimize query performance, and implement data quality monitoring.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar data role.
Strong SQL skills, including query optimization and performance tuning.
DBT Core and/or DBT Cloud experience.
Git for development workflows.
Comfortable with complex dbt projects and concepts such as:
- materializations (e.g., incremental, table, view)
- snapshots
- variables, macros
- Jinja
Ability to connect technical work to business outcomes and communicate clearly with different audiences.
Works well with analysts, PMs, and engineers to turn business needs into technical solutions.

Nice to have

Experience with Amazon Redshift.
“AI-curious”: experience or interest in leveraging AI tools for development workflows.
Experience with highly-regulated domains.
Experience in fintech or banking environments.
