Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

Analytics Engineer for a cutting-edge project building an enterprise chatbot that revolutionizes data integration. This newly created role supports growth in the data department and focuses on integrating diverse data sources, improving chatbot functionality, and translating user feedback into actionable improvements.

Responsibilities

• Integrate oil and gas data into the chatbot
• Collaborate on incorporating new data sources and enhancing user experience
• Translate user feedback into actionable changes
• Develop and maintain SQL views for data management
• Enhance chatbot functionality using data insights
• Work with the team on prompt engineering
• Use Python to support data tasks
• Support building/maintaining an enterprise chatbot powered by integrated data

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of analytics engineering/data engineering experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Strong knowledge and experience with oil and gas data
• Proficiency in Python
• Fluency with Snowflake

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with dbt
• Experience with 5 Tran (Fivetran)
• Familiarity with analytics engineering practices
• Knowledge of Alteryx

Compensation & Schedule

• $60–$78/hour (depending on experience)
• Full remote, with very rare travel to Denver, CO
• 9/80 schedule
• Interview process: 2–3 interviews
