Analytics Engineer II, Identity

Role Overview

Spring Health is hiring an Analytics Engineer II (Identity) to grow its Analytics Engineering team within the Business Intelligence organization. The role owns core reporting infrastructure used by downstream data scientists and data analysts, focusing on robust, consistent data modeling and clear documentation.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain core data models in dbt to support key business metrics and ensure data consistency.
• Partner with engineers (Identity pod) and your manager to define critical business metrics and implement the right data infrastructure and reporting solutions.
• Enable downstream teams by providing comprehensive documentation and hands-on support for data access and usage.
• Collaborate with other Analytics Engineers to maintain consistent data across the organization.
• Support data quality initiatives by creating monitoring systems and processes for accurate, auditable data.
• Audit and review data models regularly to ensure they remain relevant, accurate, and integrity-preserving over time.
• Provide data analysis to support strategic initiatives, especially during design/implementation, so new features support accurate, sustainable, maintainable reporting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with data, with a focus on data pipeline tools.
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Solid experience with modern data transformation tools, especially dbt (or similar), to build scalable data models.
• Passion for the mission of improving access to mental healthcare.
