Analytics Engineer

Role Overview

Analytics Engineer (fully remote) supporting EquipmentShare’s corporate headquarters in Columbia, MO. You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models to power reporting and analytics.

Primary Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines using SQL and Python to extract, transform, and apply business rules.
• Create and maintain dbt data models to deliver scalable, robust data solutions.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and delivery timelines.
• Create, test, and deploy changes to data assets.
• Continuously monitor and improve pipelines/ETLs, proactively identifying issues and performance improvements.

Requirements / Qualifications

Minimum

• 5+ years of SQL experience building complex SQL solutions for business problems.
• 2+ years of Python experience building scalable processes.
• 2+ years of data modeling experience.
• Experience modeling with dbt.
• Ability to support day-to-day reporting and analytics for cross-functional data access and querying.
• Experience with Git.

Preferred

• Experience with Looker (Business Intelligence tooling).
