About the role

Analytics Engineer (DataDrive)

Build and maintain the full analytics stack—data pipelines, analytics models, and Tableau dashboards—while working directly with clients and shaping how the platform evolves.

What you will do

Data Engineering & Pipeline Development

Monitor, optimize, and integrate batch data pipelines into Snowflake using ELT tools (e.g., Fivetran, Airbyte) and custom Python integrations to databases and APIs
Build and maintain dbt projects to transform source data into clean, tested reporting models
Develop Airflow orchestration pipelines connecting data ingestion, Snowflake, dbt, and Tableau
Design and implement DataOps practices using GitHub Actions, dbt testing, and data observability tooling

Tableau & Analytics Delivery

Build and maintain Tableau dashboards and published data sources as part of client delivery (following internal design standards)
Create optimized, easy-to-use Tableau data sources to enable client self-service analytics
Collaborate with clients to translate business questions into effective visualizations

Platform & Continuous Improvement

Identify opportunities to improve the managed analytics platform and build automation to implement changes
Stay current with cloud data and analytics ecosystem developments
Follow strong SDLC practices: version control, code review, and documentation

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience building cloud data pipelines and working in a cloud data warehouse
Strong SQL and Python skills
Experience with Snowflake, dbt, and Airflow (or similar orchestration)
Experience designing data models that support reporting and business outcomes
1+ year hands-on Tableau development (dashboards, data source configuration, calculated fields)

Nice to have

Experience with Fivetran, Terraform, or GitHub Actions
Familiarity with AWS services
Background in consulting or client-facing analytics delivery

Workplace / Schedule

Remote-first with a flexible virtual workplace
Generally available Mon–Fri during core hours 9 AM–4 PM CST for meetings and client communication
