About the role

Role Overview

As an N1 Data Support Analyst (Azure & DevOps) at Grupo Taking, you will ensure production data platform availability and performance. You’ll monitor pipelines, diagnose and handle incidents, and support ongoing optimization and automation of data workflows—working closely with Data Engineering, BI, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Provide N1 support for Azure data environments, ensuring stability and pipeline performance in production.
Monitor, identify, and triage incidents related to data loads, transformations, and integrations.
Use Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Azure Storage (Data Lake) with Parquet/Delta formats.
Perform technical analysis of pipeline failures involving Spark, Python, and SQL; execute initial fixes, reprocessing, and escalate when needed.
Support continuous automation and optimization to improve performance, cost, and reliability.
Maintain data integrity and quality using SQL Server and Oracle DB; use dbt for organization and standardization.
Support CI/CD pipeline build and maintenance for automated data deploys and testing.
Monitor systems using Azure Monitor and Grafana (metrics, alerts, and KPIs).
Support automated tests for data pipelines and routines to improve delivery confidence.
Collaborate with Data Engineering, BI, and business teams to understand demands, assess impacts, and prioritize incidents.
Produce documentation, incident logs, and status reports to ensure traceability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer).
Monitoring tools experience: Azure Monitor and Grafana.
Ability to automate tests and deployments via CI/CD.
Experience with other data engineering tools (e.g., Airflow, Tableau).
Bachelor’s degree in related fields (Computer Science, Engineering, Systems, Statistics, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication.
Analytical thinking and logical reasoning.
Organization and attention to detail.
