AI Solutions Architect

Role Overview

AI Solutions Architect within Tact’s Healthcare & Life Sciences practice. You’ll work with enterprise HCLS clients to move AI beyond hype by building real proof-of-concepts (PoCs), validating them with clinical and commercial stakeholders, and driving them into production.

Responsibilities

• Scope and lead AI/ML PoCs alongside client account teams
• Rapidly prototype GenAI use cases such as:
  • Clinical copilots
  • Patient personalization
  • Claims automation
  • Care operations
• Build solutions using hyperscaler AI tooling, LLM APIs, vector search, and agentic SDKs
• Integrate into cloud data platforms (e.g., Snowflake and Databricks) using real clinical and operational data
• Take initiatives from internal demos through client sign-off
• Facilitate workshops across C-suite, clinical, and engineering teams
• Serve as an AI evangelist across the broader HCLS practice

Requirements / Non-negotiables

• Deep, hands-on enterprise HCLS experience (e.g., large pharma, life sciences, payers, provider systems, or medtech)
• Vertical HCLS platform thinking with evidence of AI IP, accelerators, or reusable HCLS-specific frameworks
• Strong understanding of HIPAA and the HCLS regulatory landscape
• Hands-on experience with AI services
• Track record leading client-facing PoCs from idea to production
• Strong RAG-based application design
• Comfortable with Snowflake and/or Databricks
• Credible influencing at Director level and above within HCLS organizations

Nice-to-haves

• Evidence of reusable components such as accelerators or frameworks tailored to HCLS use cases (implicit in “vertical platform thinking”)
