Role Overview

AI Scrum Master (Senior) at Donyati. You will lead agile delivery for AI/ML-focused teams, ensuring smooth execution of AI solution development while promoting collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Lead Scrum Ceremonies: Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews for AI/ML teams while enforcing agile principles and quality.
Coaching & Mentorship: Coach teams on Scrum and agile practices; mentor team members on both agile process and AI project dynamics.
Optimize AI/ML Workflows: Partner with data scientists, AI engineers, and product owners to tailor Scrum to AI/ML needs (training, validation, and deployment workflows).
Backlog & Roadmap Management: Refine and prioritize the AI product backlog with the Product Owner; ensure user stories are clear and aligned to business goals and AI model requirements.
Impediment Removal: Remove blockers and drive process improvements to enhance delivery effectiveness.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate across multiple teams including data science, AI engineering, DevOps, and business stakeholders.
Agile Metrics & Reporting: Track and interpret metrics such as velocity, burndown charts, and cumulative flow and report actionable insights to leadership.
Risk & Issue Management: Identify and mitigate risks that could impact delivery of AI projects.

Requirements

5+ years experience as a Scrum Master and 2+ years on AI/ML projects.
Strong Scrum/agile expertise and a Scrum Master certification (e.g., CSM, PSM, or equivalent).
Proven ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies for complex cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated communication, leadership, and mentoring skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with AI/ML tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, Scikit-learn (or similar).
Experience facilitating agile processes across remote/distributed teams.
Experience with cloud platforms used for AI/ML (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).

Location & Travel

United States location required.
Travel required: approximately 25%–50% depending on project needs and phases.
