Join Covera Health as an AI Scientist focused on Deep Learning, working with a multidisciplinary team to build AI algorithms using healthcare data to improve patient care.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop AI algorithms to help reduce diagnostic errors in radiology.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to build and deploy the clinical research roadmap.
- Contribute to innovation, publish research, and represent Covera Health at scientific and industry conferences.
Requirements
- Ability to conduct independent research.
- 2+ years of experience after an MS or PhD with a strong AI publication record.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a can-do attitude.
- Applied programming experience in Python and PyTorch.
- PhD or MS in computer science, math, physics, or related field.
- Strong deep learning background, including familiarity with state-of-the-art NLP and/or CV techniques.
- Comfortable working both as an individual contributor and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Exposure to medical imaging applications of AI.
- Experience training at scale with multi-GPU setups and large datasets, including methods such as:
- Model and data parallelism
- Model sharding
- Mixed-precision training.
- Contribution to research communities and/or journals (e.g., NeurIPS, ICML, ACL, CVPR, MICCAI).
Nice-to-haves
- Research contributions/publications and demonstrated engagement with relevant AI/ML conferences and journals.
