About the role
Role Overview
You’ll build next-generation AI-powered software solutions and help shape an AI-native platform. The AI Product Engineer owns the architecture and execution of an agentic, multi-agent product that connects with business systems to automate workflows and simplify complex processes.
Responsibilities
- Own and scale an agentic product from the ground up, combining engineering and product thinking.
- Architect and build production-ready multi-agent systems that securely interact with tools like ERP, CRMs, spreadsheets, calendars, email, analytics, and compliance solutions.
- Develop and maintain Model Context Protocol (MCP) integrations connecting AI agents to real-world business systems.
- Own end-to-end production requirements: reliability, observability, permissions, security, and safe workflow execution.
- Build AI-powered product experiences using:
- LangGraph
- Next.js, React
- Prisma
- Claude Code
- Define product scope, prioritize features, evaluate trade-offs, and drive execution with minimal oversight.
- Identify technical and product risks early and propose structured solutions.
- Stay current with AI ecosystem advancements (agent frameworks, orchestration, emerging standards) and experiment with new tools to improve capabilities.
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to align AI initiatives with business objectives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of full-stack development experience, ideally building B2B SaaS.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying multi-agent AI systems in production.
- Experience creating and maintaining MCP integrations for real-world applications.
- Strong production engineering fundamentals: reliability, observability, permissions, security, and workflow execution.
- Ability to operate across engineering and product responsibilities (requirements, decision-making, prioritization).
- Proficiency with modern technologies: React, TypeScript, Node.js, PostgreSQL, GraphQL, LangGraph.
- Ability to quickly learn and apply new frameworks/tools/emerging AI technologies.
- Experience in early-stage startups with small teams and high ambiguity.
Nice to Have
- Experience with orchestration approaches and emerging agent standards (implicit from “stay current” and experimentation).
