About the role

Role overview

You’ll join 1Komma5° as an AI Product Designer (Working Student) to shape the Heartbeat app, the company’s flagship consumer product. You will take ownership of the full design loop—from discovery to delivery—and use AI to enhance each step of the design process.

Responsibilities

Own the design of core app features end-to-end (from discovery through delivery)
Use AI tools daily to improve the product design workflow and overall product experience
Conduct user research and turn complex findings into clear, simple product decisions
Collaborate cross-functionally with a strong focus on UX process, visual design, and UI craft

Requirements

Strong mobile app design skills and fluency with common mobile UX/UI patterns
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in a related field (e.g., UX Design, Interaction Design, HCI)
High agency: identify gaps and act without needing to be prompted
Builder mindset: you care about shipping and making things real
Proven end-to-end ownership experience (e.g., taking features from 0→1 and shipping)
Strong communicator in English (German is a plus)
