About the role
Role: AI Product Builder
Join NYMBUS as an AI Product Builder in a dedicated, high-autonomy squad. You’ll be the primary builder, turning product vision into working software by owning the build process from specification to implementation, with the help of AI tools.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end build: from specification through implementation.
- Collaborate within a dedicated squad with an Architect and a Shipper to ensure:
- technical integrity
- delivery and quality
- reliable release
- Use AI tools to accelerate product creation across phases (including design to implementation).
- Build systems and workflows (not only requirements) and iterate quickly based on results.
Requirements
- Comfortable with spec-first, AI-first development.
- Quality driven: correctness, clarity, and long-term maintainability; treat specs and code as durable assets.
- AI-first mindset and demonstrated use of AI tools for:
- specification assistance
- code generation
- iteration
- Ability to solve problems in ambiguity: frame clearly, explore solution spaces, converge on practical approaches.
- Hands-on development across front-end and/or back-end as needed.
- Own implementation end-to-end within a product domain; strong accountability through production.
- Hands-on experimentation with tools and continuous improvement of AI-augmented building practices.
- 5+ years in product and/or engineering roles in fintech/banking/financial services.
- Strong understanding of complex, regulated environments and financial workflows.
- Experience with core banking or digital banking platforms.
- Track record of shipping working software.
Nice to Have / Bonus
- Understanding of REST APIs, data modeling, and system interactions.
