Role overview

IDR is seeking an AI-Native Software Engineer for a remote opportunity with a top client. You’ll design, develop, and maintain full-stack features with a strong focus on AI integration, working in an agentic engineering model where AI assists with coding tasks.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain full-stack features using modern .NET technologies.
Collaborate in an agentic engineering model where AI agents support:
- code generation
- testing
- documentation
Write well-structured, tested, maintainable code, including:
- unit and integration tests
Participate in code reviews.
Contribute to CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot production issues effectively.
Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity.

Requirements

Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core (backend development).
Experience with SQL Server / Azure SQL and Entity Framework Core.
Working knowledge of React or Angular (frontend development).
Hands-on experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Cursor) and general-purpose LLMs (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI).
Ability to write structured, context-rich prompts and critically evaluate AI-generated code for correctness and security.

Nice to have

Experience integrating LLMs/AI services into production software workflows (implied by AI-native focus).
