AI-Native Full Stack Product Engineer

Role Overview

AI-native full stack product engineer early in their career to help build and expand a production platform and new AI-driven products. You’ll work across a mature core platform and new AI capabilities, with direct mentorship from a senior engineer and a path toward increasing ownership and leadership as the team grows.

Responsibilities

Core Platform Development (~25%)

• Build and enhance features in the existing production platform
• Debug and resolve production issues
• Refactor legacy code to improve maintainability
• Improve reliability, performance, and system quality

AI Feature Integration (~25%)

• Integrate LLMs and AI APIs into product workflows
• Build AI-powered tools and automation inside the platform
• Identify opportunities where AI can improve user workflows
• Ensure AI features are reliable and production-ready
• Use AI development tools as part of your workflow

New Product Development (~50%)

• Design and develop new applications/product modules
• Build production-ready systems (not just prototypes)
• Contribute across the product lifecycle from concept to deployment
• Help shape future product direction
• Perform much of the modern frontend work using React and related technologies

Required Experience / Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience
• Experience building or contributing to production applications
• Ability to work across both frontend and backend development
• Experience using or experimenting with AI APIs/LLMs/AI development tools
• Familiarity with modern development workflows and cloud-based tooling
• Strong “builder mindset” (e.g., side projects, experimentation with AI tools, open source, or personal technical projects)
